The larger-than-life aspects of the film's monster-exterminating protagonist and his nemeses are mirrored by the gargantuan choral arrangements that appear on nearly every track, painting each frame in gothic grays and snowy whites - even 'Transylvanian Horses' banjo appears threatening.
